I saw about two minutes of the 9/11 services on TV today and that was all I could watch. I saw the second tower fall from across the river and I'll never forget feeling the ground rumble and thinking about all those people I just watched die. I lost and old high school friend and my wife lost a coworker. I sure doesn't seem like eight years.

I could be wrong but I think today is the first 9/11 anniversary that wasn't a beautiful sunny day.

Nice memorial site, some very powerful images. Glad to see there are people who still care and remember the pain so many people felt that day.
