Yup, mine does the same thing. I have no idea why but just reset it every couple weeks.

I can tell by watching what time my lights go off at night.

I noticed because I feed right before I go to work and one day my lights were off and i noticed i was late for work and when I checked my acjr's time was 30 minutes slow. My fish tank made me late for work.

You have to set the offset up in the config.
Even with the offset, it doesn't keep accurate time.

Try a different # in the offset. It worked for me after setting it 3 different times.

I never had problems with the time, I always had problems with the temperature. I ended up getting a new probe in the PA Group Buy and it seems alot better. One thing I had a recent problem with was one of the outlets on my DC8, the one controlling my VHO's. The lights would stay on even when the controller indicated they were off. I sent it back to Neptune and they turned it around within 24 hrs after receiving it. and no charge for the repair. Great customer service.

The time chipsets used in the ACjr are the same in most PCs. PC's also are terrible at keeping time, in that if nothing else effect the clock, you tend to loose about 645 seconds a week. Why don't you see this in a computer normally??? Because just about everyone is connected to the Internet and Windows XP will autosync its clock to time.windows.com and reset the clock.

Go into the ACjr and set the clock offset. try to calculate in seconds the amount of time lost. I would start with a number like 92.

My 3 pro is dead on balls accurate. It is in complete sync with my cablebox. I dont know is it is a different chipset. A thought would be that id you had a pc hooked up to it, as some people do, you could use aquanotes to sync the clock. There is a clock setting in XP that keeps windows in sync with something.

I'm afraid to say it, but I've been lucky with the time as well. I haven't touched it since I've set it up. (using Aquanotes Light)
