Acrylic polish

I'm ready for the last part of my acrylic tank project and I need to buff out the last of the scratches. I know novus is good to use but where can I find it other then a motor cycle shop or boat place?
Can I use car wax? A YouTube video I watched should a guy using car wax

There's a place right inside Philly that sells all acrylic products. They have the full line of novus products. It's called everything plastic. I haven't ever used car wax so I can't really comment on that. I would think a compound used for buffing scratches on cars would be a better choice than the wax.
