Adam Blundell Sunday!

Just a reminder Adam will be on my podcast Sunday live. 8pm est. Be sure to stop by and listen, or better yet ask a question and maybe win a t-shirt, mug or key chain.

Adam Blundell M.S. works in Marine Ecology, and in Pathology for the University of Utah. He is also Director of The Aquatic & Terrestrial Research Team, a group which utilizes research projects to bring together hobbyists and scientists. His vision is to see this type of collaboration lead to further advancements in aquarium husbandry. While not in the lab he is the former president of one of the Nation's largest hobbyist clubs, the Wasatch Marine Aquarium Society (www.utahreefs.com). Adam has earned a BS in Marine Biology and an MS in the Natural Resource and Health fields. Adam can be found at adamblundell@hotmail.com.

He's very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. Don't miss this chance to ask him questions.

Some of his labs current and recent items are:

* Raising animals: clam spawning, Bangaii Cardinals
* Water flow: testing water flow patters and products
* Invertebrate aquariums with no fish or aquariums
* Raising clean shrimp
* What is or not reef safe
* Understanding filtration

Show will be available for download later tonight. It was a great talk by Adam. Now if I can only get some folks other than Alex from Austria to ask questions. Maybe I need better swag...any ideas?

One of these days I'll remember (and not be crazy busy) to be there for this. Keep up the good work, up the advertising and you'll have crowds in no time. You're doing a great service!

Thanks Phyl. Certainly getting plenty of downloads. The live shows seem to be hit or miss. From a half dozen listeners up to about 50 for Eric. I wonder if people are intimidated to ask questions...I thought freebies would entice people as some folks will do anything for free stuff...

As always need guest ideas. Only have two more lined up. Scott who will be a blast and Matt Wittenrich who wrote the latest marine fish breeding book. I'm working on the logistics on getting Chuck from the Philippines on. He'll certainly bring a different perspective as he lives close to a reef and dives almost daily.
