Getting ready to buy two fixtures for a 90 gallon. How does everyone like the vega , I seen the sol at the store and the control leaves little to be desired. How much easier is the new vega controller.

Very easy to use much better then the old controller. I have 2 on my 120. If your close to 08816 feel free to swing by and check them out...

I've only heard good things About the Vegas, I saw them at the last meeting over Brian's house (Fish brain)'and they looked great. I'm getting ready to order myself a set probably this week with the controller.

Other reviews were stating something about a "disco effect" but think it probably had a lot to do with their settings ,any experience? Can you run multiple lights from one controller?

Yes, you can run multiple lights from one controller. (I think up to 16 lights on one controller.)

The disco effect is more noticeable when you run the red and green at higher levels. I have red and green set to 25% and you don't even notice it.

If you are planning to take a trip to OGII anytime soon let me know. I'm 10 min from there and you can see the Vega's in action over my 120. I'll give you the full product demo. ;)

I was looking into doing the 'upgrade' from my Sol Blues to the Vegas and using the AI controller. From what I have seen the Vegas are great and provide a great solution.

They gave me a demo of the sol fixtures over their frag tank ,impressive! the storm simulator was neat just hope they have a more realistic effect on the newer model. the controller looked impossible though. I know they have a new LCD controller for the vega.

LPS and monti's grow like crazy! And now that I'm getting my phosphate and Alk. in check my SPS are responding well. They are getting their color back and starting to grow again.

I'm running t5 right now and since I've added a ecoxotic stunner I've noticed insane growth on my montipora so looking forward to swapping over to led
