All for Reef Question

So, I bit the bullet and dropped some cash for the big tub of powder.
But it isn't powder.
Its mildly damp and clumping a bit.
Is this normal?

You’re gonna love it. I have been using for several months now and my #’s are stable and I have seen more growth than when I was dosing the DIY recipe. The powder will last you a long time. Much more cost efficient than their liquid. I am dosing the minimum required for both of tanks and everything looks great.

I didn't like the powder but liquid was good. I stopped using it cause wasn't economical. I even bought a magnetic stirrer too.

What didn’t you like about the powder? The small container (46.00) makes 5liters of solution. 5 ml per 26 gallons of water. I’m dosing 25ml a day so it should last me 200 days at 46.00 a container and the larger one gives you 10 liters of solution. I guess if your tank is a larger tank with a lot of SPS then maybe not as good, but it seems like a win for smaller tanks. Mine is a 120 with a 35 gallon sump. I estimate my total volume at about 130 gallons. What works for one may not work for the another. To each his own

I went through the powder quickly and my ALK dropped from 8.3 to 7 and could not get higher once I switched from liquid to powder. I dosed more and more no luck.
I gave up on it and am using Reef Builders but now. ALK and Calc spiked to high; just can't win......LOL

I’ve been a fan of all for reef.
I was also doing moonshiners for a while but found that my dailies requirement for moonshiners was also covered from all for reef so I’m simply doing all for reef now too.
my icp tests also come back quite close to moonshiner recommended parameters

You should address the alk level separately and keep it stable with AFR!
