Alternative to cheato

Think my system runs to clean to support it as well as high calcium which I think I heard isn't good for it ,anyway need cheato for my pods ,I saw these bs frilly things the wife uses in the shower in ebay "pod condo" is it the same as what I would by in the bath section of the store

I've got tons of pods I just need a vessel to get them from he sump to the dt what's everyone's trick

I suppose those things could work. I use pod condos made from LR rubble and plastic netting.
