I've heard some bad press regarding Aquarium depot lately in regards to live stock (link in retailer experiences in the forums). I did order a pod order from them about a year ago, I think it was a 250 pod deal (with 250 free) and was $20 or so. I can say without doubt that I had many more than 1000 copes and amps quite alive and vibrant, so much so they were jumping onto the counter out of the shipping containers. Was enough to keep a spotted mandarin happy in a 90g.
I'm considering an order for my 30g this week.
For the price, especially if you get the free shipping (with or without pods), and assuming its the same quality it was last year, its worth the order. But with the name changes they've gone through and changes in policy....
Still, pods are basic and think you'll be OK.
I'll contact the owner this week as a committee member, ask a s few questions, hopefully get a few answers, and will post in the 'Retailer Experiences' area.

Call ACC ahead of time, depending on demand they may be short, though they always seem to be good on phyto.
Also dropped a line to Aquarium Depot. Stated general dissatisfaction with livestock from a number of members, but general satisfaction with pods for the most part.
Waiting on response.

What and where is ACC?
Also yes aquarium depot does have a great deal with them...i didnt have a problem with them but you cant get just amphipods you get copes too. But i dont know if they are okay with zoas?? I just figured my pipefish only eats amphs so thats why i was just looking to get a bottle of amphipods.if copes are safe for zoas then ill continue to use aquarium Depot.
