Any ideas?

About two days ago my new blenny showed up with this mark it looks like a bite to me but I would like to hear some opinions so let have um, thanks

It looks worse today then yesterday it wasn't clearly a hole yesterday more like a roughed up spot

Maybe it got too close.... to the anemone

Any signs of aggression from other fish?

No aggressive fish that I've seen

is the blenny scratching itself against a rock? if not, i wouldn't worry about it. it seems like he got into a fight with another fish. i don't think it's the anemone's fault. it looks like something picked at it.

It did once or twice that I saw but nothing I would consider often or a lot.
For now I'm going to feed a little heavier and see if it gets any worse.

Unfortunately there's no way to know w/o having someone with experience examine him. Again I suggest you pass a good pic to Bob Fenner, as he has veterinarians in his group.
