Looks interesting considering the normal price of a fixture, I wonder how many you'd need for a 6 foot tank though.

I love the MH, but want a bluer look, I have 3 x 14K, and know I could do 20K, but at the loss of coral growth.

Yeah you told me, I wonder if a single 20K in the center would have any ill effects? Maybe I can find a used one to test out and see how I like the look.

I went from 4- 10k to a 10k 20k 10k 20k . It looks good you can come check it out if you want. . I think cause i have 4 bulbs on 6' i can get away with it. If you have a 10 20 10 i think the ends might look white or yellow compared to the middle. You have any t5 or vho?

I know, thats why i asked if he had any t5 or vho. He can add some to get a bluer look like he wants if he doesnt have any already. When i had 4 10k mh i had 320 w of vho actinic but the mh just washed it out

my fixture has 4 bulbs that are actinic I believe, but I only run them as dawn/dusk effect.

idk why, but when I see a tank with blue it looks great the colors seem to pop more than under a white light.

The gen 2 maxspect LEDs look really really really interesting. May have to give them a shot.

Looks pretty interesting. Figuring out what size you need is a bit tricky.
Price is good though hope they keep getting cheeper.
