Anyone belong to DVC ? RCI ? or other timeshare..

Hi everyone,

Still a newbie to NJRC so "Hello" ...

Thought I'd see if anyone here belongs to Disney Vacation Club, or any other timeshare. We own at DVC and plan on renting out points and/or trading in the future.... so it's always good to know if anyone else has anything they rent or trade with....
For those unfamiliar the DVC has studio thru 3 bedroom units that can be booked anytime during the year, using a point system, they are located in Disney on the hotel properties, but in a separate area with separate amenities..

Possibly interested. How many points do you have? Does it matter what your "home" resort is?

Hi Phyllis~ I'm sure you're aware that Disney partnered with RCI again as of January... Is there a particular RCI resort that you guys like ? We can also trade privately, as I think there is some benefit doing it on your own as far as choice of resort and such... if you're ever interested...


Jim~ We have 320 a year, but have some reserved for this year already. The home resort thing is, 11 months booking prior to travel date vs. 7 months.

Our home resort is the Contemporary Resort, which is on the monorail, and has the option of a Magic Kingdom view (good for relaxing fireworks viewing) so that is the 11 month booking for us, all others are 7 months.
