Anyone good with wave makers trying to get a wavey effect on my tank going and have zero success currently using 2 fx350 gyres was told it’s impossible to do it with them on a 200 gallon and to add 2-3 circular ones to get it done any ideas?

Would need to know what your aquascape looks like and where you are putting the gyres, those should be plenty strong enough to move water… just a matter of positioning, and choosing the right pattern and strength

i spent a few weekends ago trying to achieve this after seeing the video from WWC..
Was ultimately unsuccessful but I did manage to get my torches to have slight swaying by the end of it..

My general understanding is that you need to time the short pulses.. I have a mixture of icecap gyres, neros, and MP40s so ultimately I couldnt use a single program to time all the devices simultaneously

I would Move one side up higher, get it high as you can without it sucking in air from the surface an point it down a little bit, do you know what wave profile you are using and at what strength and time?

I’m using random on both at 30-70 if i point it down it beats up my bottom and doesn’t wave it more just ramming and force closing corals if i reduce power just now enough flow
