Have a few general questions. Would love to have a chance to ask and get answers.
Keep watching videos with slight varying info so wanna hear from someone who is doing it.

I have been keeping my mind off my crashing main sysem by focusing on my clowns that have been laying eggs regularly.
I have phytoplankton going and I may still have rotifers growing.

Just wondering, what size sieves are ideal to handle these rotifers.
Also if I have a larger size TDO pellets(x-small = C1) , can I use the crusher I have to fill in the A and B sizes for now?

All I will say is you will never have enough phyto plankton, haha. On my last batch I think I may have went through 2 gallons. For your rotifers rotigreen is a must. 40 microgram sieve should be sufficient. I never had luck with the TDO pellets off the bat. I start with rotifers for the 1st 10 days and then start Baby Brine. Once they fry are on the baby brine' somewhere between days 10 and 14, I stop the rotifers and get them on TDO A.

Rotigreen aint cheap. who needs $75+ worth...lol
Sorry meant RG Complete which isn't exactly cheap either but kimd.if necessary if you are serious about breeding. Rotigreen is great also. Instead of dumping a 1/4 gallon of phyto in your fry tank daily you would use like 10ml's of roti green and willmlast until it expires. Just remember if you run out of rotifers and are unable to keep your fry tank looking like pea soup you will never get the clown fry to meta.

This is where I get a little confused.
The Rotigreen Omega is a super frozen concentrate. This you would take a small portion of and defrost and use monthly to feed phytoplankton AND tint the clown water if needed.
Is RG Complete a slightly watered down, but still very concentrated , version of the Rotigreen Omega?
Seems like I should just bite the bullet and get the Rotigreen Omega as it will be needed for one or the other locations as a food source.

Am I understanding correctly, I wouldnt need both?

Rg complete has an ammonia binder in it and not live phyto. Basically it keeps your rotifer culture growing with dying due to toxic water. Roti Green is a live phyto and super concentrated.
