Apex Fusion

So I'm wondering if any of the Apex users are trying out the new cloud based Fusion. I just hooked up my new lite unit and figured from the start I'm gonna give it a go.

Have you read anything about it? My apex was giving me problems last week and I was on the apex forums. Lots of people were complaining about it giving them problems

Just some basic reading on it. My real reason for using is so I can access everything while I'm away since I'm pretty clueless when it comes to forwarding and stuff like that. Right now I only have the apex monitoring temps and lights so I'm not too deep into things yet. I'm working tomorrow so I plan I reading up on everything there is to know about it.

Were your problems associated with it.

I've been using it for a month or two without any issues. The interface is much nicer but beyond that there doesn't seem to be any major functional changes. Then again I'm relatively new to apex so I might not know what I don't know. :)

I have almost everything on my apex, lights, temp, pumps, alarms, ato and water container top with kalk, water changing, ro water maker, and a few more. For critical things, I always wait for a few months before upgrading and will be waiting for things to settled down. I did see beta testers were pretty happy.

I was impacted last week by issues with Dst changes. I hear fusion has lots of issues right now.

Fusion has been awesome so far for me. Really makes the Apex that much better in terms of features.

I too have not had any issues. I like it a lot especially since before it I was unable to control or check in on things without being home. I'm not computer savvy enough to set up all the forwarding and up stuff. Way beyond me.

I'm not good with computers either , once I get all my switches in is their anyone that would be able to help program my apex def not using it to its potential.

I can help on programming.

I had a few issues with fusion but mostly pump related with the wxm module and my mp10s. It is fixed now though. I do like the fusion setup when it comes to the vortechs, makes programming easier and for the not so good programmers it does make it a ton easier. Same thing with AI and Radion lights.

I don't have the apex linked to my vegas or vortecs I would have to see how much better the apex controls them to be sold on the modules

I use a VDM and the WXM and I believe it was worth it, but it really comes down to how much control do you want and can your wallet handle it. The vortecs for instance, I have multiple programs throughout the day which you cannot do with the pumps controller aside from feed and night programming.

I have an Acan light and control wise there for me you basically only had one program to work with. As with my pumps I use multiple programs with my lights and utilize the seasonal charts to do moon lighting. I do use the random cloud cover simulation as well. When I first started programming it is a good thing none of my fish have epilepsy, there was lighting occurrences for about 8 hours.
