Aqua illumination warranty

I own 2 Nero 5s and 4 Nero 3s…recently I cleaned them and apparently must have got water into the control boards of 3 of them…I bought them less than a year ago but sent them in for warranty…because the control boards had corrosion, they would be out of warranty…but they sent me two new Nero 5s for free and only charged me $90 for a new Nero 3…I am very happy with them, and I thought they went above and beyond. Nero 5s are 220 each and the Nero 3 are 165.

Same here. Splash damaged a 26HD and corroded the board. When I called they told me it wasn't under the warranty then proceeded to send me a new unit for $100.

I spoke with Ecotech at RAP. They told me that they only charge for hardware/new parts. If I have any item that they need to look at, diagnose, do repair work on, etc it would be free for the time and labor components. If they can take it apart and fix it without putting new hardware in, it would be free (except shipping). I was impressed. I imagine same thing for AI now that they’re the same company.

I told them that I had a Radion G5 that I bought second hand. Warranty won’t apply, but they would still fix it for free as long as it didn’t need parts. You might be fine anyway if they just need to reset something for you.

I had to write them a little bit of a nasty email for them to cover it under warranty. But I’m glad they stood behind their product. A replacement is already on the way.

I usually dont say I boughf it second hand. I always say I got it as a gift or won it at a raffle. You shoot yourself in the foot if you say that.
