Hey everyone. I have been looking into possibly getting one of these and from what I have read they are great.

The choices I would go with are either the Jr or the III.

Couple questions though. I know the Jr can interface with a computer but is it accessable on the internet or is the III the only one with that option.

See, when I go away on vacation I want to be able to go on and see what the tank is doing.

Opinions on them? Which should I go with?

Also, anyone around have an Octopus controller, wondering if you have any input on it.

For internet access go with the III, it has the network port and a built in webserver. The JR only has the serial port option that you need to connect to a pc and the pc has to provide a webserver and all the other services.

Don't forget we have a Premium Aquatics group buy this month. We have been getting a lot of Aquacontrollers through them.

Speaking of which if anyone is interested in an ACIII I'll sell you mine for $25 under cost of the group by price. I want to go back to the AC Pro which I previously had, so I'll order the Pro during the group by also.

You will get all the new probes, cords and what not. All I want to do is upgrade the main unit itself without removing any of my probes.

Ed can verify my unit is only a couple of months old. I was with him when I purchased it. I can also help you configure it. Matter of fact I can pre-configure it to your needs and then do any additional help/configuration via phone or web interface.

Who wants to take me up on this?
