Aquascape awnswer in an Hour.

Had a collapse today and need a quick awnswer to fix tonight. I have nice corline pieces on top and front and I was wondering if I switch them with my base rock if they will die off or stay covered. Should I keep my outside rock on the outside or can I move it inward to put some of the base rock on the outside?

They will lose color, but the coralline will still be there. The newer base rock will eventually be covered in coralline if you are placing them where the other ones used to be in. Growing coralline algae is pretty easy IMO, they prefer subdued lighting with preference to the blue spectrum and supplement with magnesium, trace amounts of strontium and molybdenum and Calcium/alk. In no time, they will be covered as well.

To switch or not to switch. I need a drink. I havn't touched the rock in my tank for 2 years. I remember how bad my back hurt the last time I did it. It's going to be a long night. Thanks for the reply, I think I'm going to move some of it around and watch it turn again.
