Aquascape opinions please

Got my reef rock today. Need opinions here. I still have about 30-35lbs leftover. This should be around 110-115lbs. do you guys/gals think its too much. This is for a 90RR. The eggcrate would be the substrate.

I LOVE the 1st one. it's pretty much what I'm hoping for. who did you order from?

how tall is the tallest piece compared to tank height? is the towel semi accurate for height of the tank? if so you're golden imo

I think that's my favorite too. Actually the table cloth is exactly the same height. I didn't even try to do that.
The rock is from reefrocks.com. The owner Steve does good work but is pretty slow. He charged me for 100lbs and a custom setup. Total was only $195. Nice. But it took almost a month to get here. When you ready to get if you want to come buy and take a look feel free.

I'm voting for the slightly different one, but I think I'd use starboard instead of egg crate under it.

Jim, I was torn between the two. Got the eggcrate just because it's easier to find. Is there advantage to the starboard. For what it's worth every rock on the bottom is flat cut. I'm also planning on around 2.5-3" sand.

I like the slightly diff also!

You made comment about 2-3 inches of sand.... ROCK FIRST then SAND. Do not put sand on rock. If you decide to get any animal that burrows you may have an avalanche when the animal digs up the sand..

Of course. I only stated that cause the crate would be under that much sand. I learned the hard way in my other tank. When my goby decided to clear his area.

Ok, just checking. :) Looks really good. I got my rock from them also :)

I like them both, but it I had to pick, I would go with the second one. I like the caves it creates for your fish/inverts to feel secure, while allowing you to see them from the front of my tank.

Well the stone and sand are in the tank. Thanks for the opinions everyone. Take a look at my build thread for the pics.
