As you can guess, its super blue. Thats how the fixture came from its previous owner. Im ordering a few more bulbs soon, I was planning on another purple, another aquablue, and probably a GE 6500 as well. If youd like to see my setup, come on by! Also nice choice on fixtures, I have a 24" sunpower and it was a real quality light.

I got my new ATI SunPower up and running today. I do like the fixture a lot. ;D
I will be hanging it tomorrow ;D
Now lets hope this summer my room temp will be lower than years past.

Yes it will be interesting to see how the corals will react. That is why I am not selling my M/H fixture right away. I do like the Color of my tank with the bulbs that I picked out.

I have an ATI as well (thanks boontonbob) and I love it, well built, great hanging system and active air circulation! Still trying for new configurations...the ever ending quest!

Daniel can you do me a favor and see how hot the fixture gets when all lights are on after an hour or two? I would like to know how hot it gets. Mine gets really hot and I can't keep my hand on there for more than a few seconds.

I can tell you that it gets warm but not really hot.
You should check to see if the cooling holes in the reflectors are all on the same side. They should be on the opposite side of the outlet. Also I have my fan volts set at 7.5V not at 4.5V that ATI says to use.
I hope this helps you out.

Thank Daniel
Yes the wholes are all visible on the opposite of the cord. It was proven that the fans should be ran either on 9.5 or 12V. I will find the thread over on RC. Does the fans blow air into the fixture or suck air out of the fixture?

My holes are on the cord side and my outlet is the opposite side where you would pull the splash-protection out from. That is where the fixture vents the hot air.
