ATO systems?

So I’m now looking at ATOs and I’m building on a budget. Originally I was going to tie my RO/DI system directly to my sump but thought about it and decided I’m good carrying five gallons of water once a week. Maybe down the road tie it into my reservoir. So what I’m getting at is what are you guys using and what suggestions do you have. Now my sump already has a float in it but I’m ok with or without using it.

I ONLY trust tunze ATOs. Optical sensors all the way.

I’d definitely advise Against tying your RO/DI into your tank, tons of horror stories to back up that decision.

Ryan,
Just broke down a couple of tanks and have an ato available. Not a name brand, has control box and 2 float switches which are configurable (I use one to turn on the pump at low level and one to turn off pumps if water level gets to high as a safety). Used it for the last year with no concerns.
I'm in Brick, drop me a PM if interested, I'll let it go stupid cheap (or if you have a trade I'd happily do that). Will ship for an extra few bucks if needed.

et,
Love the Tunze myself, but the optical version gets expensive. Running an Icecap on one of my tanks with great success (optical as well but 1/2 the price). As well as 2 of these generic units which haven't let me down in a year.
