Attaching dry rock together.

So I got my rock and started dry stacking it. What do folks use to glue it all together?

I know about the Marco stuff. But its not cheap at 50 for 15 lbs.

What do ya'll recommend?

I was gonna use threaded nylon rod and nylon nuts. Though I didn't need it. I've also heard of some using the orange landscape markers , and plastic coat hangers. Just drill the rock and slide them in.

The rods make sense.. I was thinking something like cement. Epoxy? Lots of diffrent types of cement/morter? silicone?

I just did an aquascape for our new tank. We bought tonga branch rock, dried it, and cycled it. It was mostly single large branches, with two big "base" pieces with branches that I was able to use to create the structure. I used marineland epoxy to create arches, and caves from the different pieces of branch rock. I used the marineland epoxy that comes in tubes. Overall, I used about 8 tubes of epoxy on the tank.
Be warned, it makes our skimmer go crazy.

JB Water Weld. You can find it at HD or Lowes. Much cheaper than the "reef epoxy" you will find made specifically for aquariums. It's virtually the same product. Sometimes it helps the bonding process if you add a dab of super glue gel (what you use for attaching your corals) between the epoxy and the rocks.

I recommend drilling and inserting rods (acrylic, nylon, or even just plastic coat hangers work fine) for any type of arches/caves/etc. where you only have a small contact surface between two rocks and/or wherever you need some extra support.

I have used aquamend, JB water weld, and the aquarium specific stuff.... the water weld was WAY stronger than the other 3 or 4 brands I have used.
