I am so glad you made it Rich - it was so good to see you.

and at least I dodged the NJRC Meeting curse....

Thanks Phil and Pete for your hospitality. The pulled pork lived up to the hype.

It was nice putting some faces to their screen name.

Oh and the newbie luck was at least partially in effect ;).

Hey Gang!

Thanks for coming to the wilds of South Jersey! Hosting today was our pleasure. It was too bad we didn't have more people, but maybe next time.

And thanks for all the food/beer/wine/soda, etc today too!!

Cheers!

For those that asked what bulbs were in my T5 unit, I found my cheat sheet for them.

Front
ATI Blue Plus
UVL Super Actinic
GE 6500K Daylight
ATI Blue Plus
UVL Aquasun
ATI Blue Plus
ATI Aquablue
ATI Blue Plus

This combo gives very closer to a 14K look

Its always a light turnout in July and August. Now January, February and March is another story.

Sorry I was MIA, but we hosted 50 people for my father-in-laws 80th birthday.

It was almost like we hosted a meeting. I spent a good part of the day explaining the tanks. ;D

Thanks Pete and Phil, Kelly and I had a great time talking with you and others. The house looks great and the pulled pork was awesome. I was so involved in the meeting that I forgot to get over to the butcher shop. I'll have to make a trip again. I would also like to thank you for your tips on the equipment in the basement. I was amazed at how clear your water was and along with the lighting choice everything looked great. The 120 will look great when you get it....LOL

Thanks again, would love to do it again sometime

Almost exactly what I was about to post! Food was great and it was really fun meeting you all. This was my first meeting and my girlfriend Pam and I learned a lot from you all. Thanks to everyone for a great experience.

Newbie luck was in effect with us also, we won a beautiful red cap that is adding some wonderful color to our tank!

A big thanks to Anthony and Terry who helped us mount our red cap and gave us another coral (a xenia I think?) They also gave us some chemicals to dip our corals in. They were very friendly and helpful and we really appreciate all they did for us. By the way, they have 2 very beautiful reef tanks!

Another big thanks to Mike (Mbodell) who picked up my group buy order and let me pick it up at his house, which thankfully is very close to mine. He and his wife (sorry, I don't recall her name) also gave us 2 more frags from their great tank when I picked up my order.

Phil and Pete, your hospitality was top notch and you guys made our first meeting experience a positive one. I was the one asking about the T5 bulb list. I'll have to compare that to my own and try to match it. Only problem is that my light only has 4 bulbs, so I'll just have to modify it some. I think you were raving about the Blue plus the most, so I'll make sure I get at least 1 or 2 of those. What was the name of the website you said you buy yours from again?

http://www.reefgeek.com/lighting/T5_Fluorescent/Bulbs/54_Watt/

I like reefgeek because every bulb has a detailed description and a color wavelength chart so you see where the bulb is in the color spectrum.

If someone was taking pictures, I missed it! But then, I was busy in the kitchen for most of the meeting. But that's okay because the kitchen is where I'm the happiest! <G>
