I know I sound dumb but I click the upload avatar tab and from there I can;t put a pic from my files. Copy and paste or what? Does it have to come from a url? I'm easily confused. Thx

Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.

I don't think anyone is taking shots at you, I believe they are just trying to help...unless I'm severely mistaken!
Have you tried uploading the picture to a photo site as suggested in a previous post? I would re-size the picture you would like to use, 150 x 150 is usually a good starting point. Then upload it to photobucket or a similar site. (You can even create a gallery here to store your picture) Then all you have to do is right click on the photo you would like to use and paste the URL it displays in the area that it asks you to (in profile settings). That should be it.

I apologize,I thought i was being"clowned". I am almost computer illiterate not to mention very stressed. 3 Kids 21 19 and six AND I keep a reef. Mad respect and appreciation for any and all feed back. My bad. Dibs on the reefs!(I'll probobly kill them though) Thanks cygnusx1 ps RUSH RULES

Ah anyways - the avatar might be the settings on the picture. Try double-clicking the picture you want, and editing the attributes/properties so that they are less than 150 dots per inch. Or just post the pic here and I'll re-size it for you. Or shoot an email to me with the pic.
