Baby Bears is Cute!

Three VERY little bears and their mom got stuck in a tree by my house. Now I'm gonna have a pair of boots, a hat, AND a rug! Just kidding but I did get some pretty good pictures...

Did you want to rush out there and help them out of the tree?! I know I did! How cute they are (but mom DOES look scary).

@Deb: The trees or the bears?! I don't think bears mix well with 2yos and I'm pretty sure climbing trees would present a problem too! LOL!

At one point I was out there with my regular non-telephoto lens and I was standing right under the tree. The big bear growled at me and swatted the branches hard enough to make some fall down. Then I thought about what would happen if the bear fell down on top of me or next to me. Then I went back in the house and got my telephoto lens.

I was close enough to get quite a good whiff of bear stank and let me tell you, it's distinctive.

There are more photos that I haven't uploaded yet, including the mama bear running away, and, after she circled around the house and got behind me, me running away!
