found a bad capacitor on a phillips plasma 42 in tv board is out .anyone familiar doing this?

I've replaced caps before , it's also economical to replace the whole board. You could tap the bulging cap for extra mileage until you source your parts, I've done that with some success on PCs lol

id rather replace it . pia to pull off wall. I can see ## on capacitor but can not find part uggggg.

I sourced the board I needed to fix my 42 from FLEABAY for $25 shipped. The cap was $6, I figured I was taking it apart already I might as well replace the board. I wish you the best
