Barrels for water changes

I want to increase the amount of water i change from 30-35 gallons to the 50-60 gallons. In my search for food grade containers i came across this site (http://www.easycart.net/FiresideGallery/60_Gallon_Rain_Barrels.html) which does free shipping to NJ. While the barrels have had food in them, wondering if people have purchased barrels/containers/whatever from other sources and what their experiences have been. This isn't something i have seen from Lowes or Home Depot, so trying to find a good source.

These barrels would be just fine.


However, check with Bax (baxreefs)…..he was selling barrels…. very reasonable cost…. a little while back. I'm sure if you search "barrels" on our site you'll find it.

REEFLECTIONS

i see those were sprayed with "several coats of special uv polish" i wonder what it is, and how careful they were to not get any of that inside, or if they'de send you barrels that are untreated so to speak.
