we rarely get snow here and if anything it's a dusting. one of my neighbors continually tells me that we do get a lot of snow but I've yet to see it. I installed this the first year I moved in just in case our electric heat gets cut out. just started it up to see if still working and looks good.Mickey you're near the water, I bet no snow...

Same issue here. I plan on getting a small generator and they can just report me; don't care.Picked up an inverter for the car, fingers crossed we don't lose power, but the inverter should be able to sustain some heaters and pumps..
Condo bylaws don't allow for a generator, so this is my only other option if we have an extended loss.

How much did you pay if you dont mind me asking ?picked up this baby on a black Friday sale and it got delivered last week. already got gas and oil in it and have it ready just in case.
Just make sure you turn the main off so you don’t back feed through the line and shock a utility worker.Having it wired into your electrical panel is the wat to go.
