biocube & keep healthy Copepod population

Wilson. I realize drawing is not to scale. But I am curious. Is the Maine pure and sock out of the water and the water splashing on it... passing thru a second submerged block and then to skimmer

Water flows thru marine pure like it isn't even there. It’s amazingly porous. However. I personally like it past the protein skimmer but I understand not everyone has that space available

Sweet ima get it too how did you cut it? Any special way

I did Not have to cut it. But it is soooo soft you could probably cut it with a serrated knife. But if you have access too a band saw. That would be great

Yes, the floss cup and first block are out of water right now. (The dotted blue line is the waterline across at any given part of the sump). There's only a fraction of an inch distance between the bottom of the cup and the top MP block, so there's little to no splashing. Hoping this will prevent any.. erosion.. over time. The bottom brick is the big boy, 8x8x4.

Probably is nothing but that stuff is soooo fragile. I was concerned about erosion It will hold a bio load for the nitrogen cycle but I do not believe it will hold pods if not submerged. I’m sure it’s fine. And wouldn’t give it a thought

Forgot this thread was about pods haha. I'll report back if I see any significant erosion where the water makes contact.
