I'll tell what........ I'll spray paint my Yellow Tang BLACK and I'll sell it to you for $350. Thats half the cost of that other tang look alike for $700. I'll do something better. I will give you a rock with a Kenya tree for free if you purchase my yellow... oh I mean Black tang ::). You can't beat that.

C'mon Guys N' Gals THINK!!!!!!!!

Hundreds of $ for a Tank/Stand; Hundreds of $ for equipment; Hundreds of $ for ROCKS!!!; and Hundreds of $ for Improved Water 'cause what we drink ouselves is not good enough!!! In other words, thousand(s) of $ BEFORE we've even added any marine life. ::)

Then add Hundreds of $ more for the nice corals, fish and inverts....the $ spent on gas @ $3/gal. in travelling to the dozens of "big/new/one-of-a-kind" LFS's...and inevitably the extra $ spent on "things" to get rid of Hair Algae, Bubble Algae, Aiptasia etc. ;D

BUT WE'RE NOT FINISHED YET.

Next are the Hundreds of $ for those "Gotta Have", "rare and exquisite" corals like the Aussie and Japanese acans, micros etc. 8)

Then comes the Hundreds of $ for...you guessed it....the additional setups for everything from quarantine tanks to frag tanks to "just because..." ;D

Let's not forget the Hundreds of $ spent for THE UPGRADE TO A "BIGGER","MORE EFFICIENT" SYSTEM which can and has included renovations to the house itself!!! :eek:

So I ask you, is the price of a Black Tank really too expensive?? 8)

That's so funny because the day I got my first Gem Tang was the day I got served divorce papers. I got my second Gem Tang the day I actually got divorced. Felt I owed it to myself to have a pair. :)
