Blender Recommendations

Looking to purchase a powerful Blender. I was thinking of the NINJA 1500. Has anyone used this or other brands and what did you think of it?

I had the bullet and wasn't a huge fan. The Ninja comes with a "Bullet" like container.

I think the infomercial is what got me thinking ninja.

I went to costco a few months ago and bought a vitamix. Damn expensive, but the thing is a miracle worker. I read the reviews on the ninja 1000 which seemed to be seriously lacking (even though consumer reports gave it a good grade). The bullet received very solid ratings as well.

Wow. I don't know if I could talk the wife into a $400 blender. I was lucky she okayed a $200 blender. LOL.

Blendtec is also another highly rated blender, up there with the vitamix.

Was not my intention but we are using this pretty much on a daily basis.

Ours is an original, I'm sure the vitamix is quieter than mine... I think Sara wakes the neighbors up with ours lol

FWIW, Consumer Reports gave the Ninja Master Prep Professional QB1004, its highest rating, and best buy. Along with Vitamix 5200, it received the highest ratings. For $60.00, I think I'd have to try it. The Ninja Professional NJ600 came in just behind those two.
