Blue spot Jawfish

Been looking into getting a blue spot jawfish for a while. Have been hearing more bad then good in terms of them in a tank. Anyone have any experience? Was also looking at a yellow headed jawfish as opposed to a bluespot.

We have owned several. First off is your tank covered and how securely? They will find any opening. The last one we had we had the longest because we have a cover with zero ways to get out. What temp do you run your tank? They are cooler water fish and can be prone to bacterial infections at higher temps. What does your sand/substrate look like? They are constant burrowers and will steal just about everything f they can. We have had better long term success with pearly heads and you can keep them in a group.
