Bristleworm trap

A couple of hours with a 5 minute Bristleworm trap.

I have nothing against bristleworms unless they start to get to big and numerous. These guys would come out in the daytime and make fun of me so I threw some clam in this thing made from junk I had laying on my workbench.

I would have caught a lot more, but they ate all the clam

I will trap more tonight because I just have to many.

Paul that’s awesome. Need more details on the trap. Is it basically like a Kelly trap for catching bait fish or ears

It is a couple of film containers pushed into an acrylic tube with a funnel thing stuck in one end. The funnel is from a florist. They put carnations in them and fill them with water. They will probably give you some. Just drill the thin part through so the worms can get in. Any container will work

Love it. Your video had me on YouTube for an hour watching worm traps. Definitely making one. Thanks Paul.

I used to buy them by the hundreds for a seahorse feeder I invented and patented. "Brine Shrimp Direct" used to sell them for me, then I got tired of making them.
