As you may or may not know, my BTA split several weeks ago.
The new lil guy was content to stick around the other BTA, but apparently decided to move today.
I came home today to cloudy water and thought, 'uh oh...that can't be good.'
Upon closer inspection, there were lil pieces of flourescent green everywhere, and a couple pieces of a fleshy foot.
My assumption is that it went THROUGH my closed loop system.
I did an emergency 5 gallon water change and started mixing up another 5g that I'm going to follow up with this evening.
Strangely enough, everything else in the tank looked just fine. Xenia was pumping, millie was as hairy as ever, zoos all open.
Hoping for the best right now...
As an aside, my vet called this morning with my 9 yr old rotty's blood results and it doesn't look good. We'll know tomorrow for sure after an abdomen xray.
Ain't life grand.
