BTA lighting question

I was thinking of getting an RBTA for my 75g tank. I have 226 watts of PC lighting. If my math is correct 226/75 would about 3 watts per gallon. If this is right is it enough light for the nem?

Thanks
Mark

mark - unless you place the BTA at the top point of your tank - i would skip it.

buddy of mine has a 90 gallon and pc lights - and the bta plopped itself so high up in the tank that it was exposed everytime a water change was done.

Searching the WEB wasn't much help. Some sites said no for PC and RBTA; other sites said they are okay for shallow tanks but never mentioned what they meant by shallow. A few sites had 2 to 6 watts per gallon which is a big gap.
