Building a Refugium

Hi, I'm interested in keeping certain species of fish, and it seems that some, if not most, need a refugium to survive properly. I would like to know how to successfully build a refugium on the left side of my DT, because I cannot fit anything under nor ontop of it. Any help would be great. I am also looking into buyin the following items, and please tell me that they are worth having in the refugium.

That is for basically getting it started, and here is the rest of it from inland aquatics, would these be good, and useful?

Also, any information on plumbing, and types of pumps I would need, and what would provide flow into the refugium.

The Refugium will be on the Left Side of my DT. Pretty much what is seen in this picture, but the Refugium is on the left. http://saltaquarium.about.com/cs/aq.../a/aa041400.htm

Thanks, in advance, the Tank is set up just with Two Clowns, Bullet Goby, and a RBTA, with some Fiji Premium LR, curing on the way. It is a 55gal tank, and I will be using a 10gal as my Refugium.

Also, would a powerhead have enough flow for a Refugium, of 10gal tank size? Because I have a Koralia 2 that isn't being used, and was wondering if that would be good?

Also, what EQ would be needed for the plumbing, and the DT is already set up, so how would I go about adding a refugium to the side of my tank, (NO SUMP)? Also, what type of cheap lighting could I use?

How can I drill the sides of the tank to house the intake and return of the refugium when the tank is set up and has water in it?

Also what types of pumps would be needed for the outake and intake and such? I'm fairly new at DIY, and I'm 14 so I'm not that mechanically inclined.

Thanks

Ok,
Your post is a little bit all over place,so I will try to give you a simple answer based on it.

What kind of fish do you want to keep?

Instead of building 1 can you fit the small CPR aquafuge on the end of the tank.

The Fauna kit sounds good but you can get the same for alot less $ from anyone here selling chato.

I think a K-2 in a 10 gallon fuge would be no good (unless you like sand storms) way too much current.

I would turn your thoughts to where you could locate a hang on fuge or a way to mount 1 above your DT.

Seconded for a CPR HOB fuge. You could also put a strawberry basket fuge or two in the display tank behind the rocks if you are looking more for a live food factory than a absorber of nutrients.
