Bulbs and UV radiation question

Guys please let me know if I'm right or wrong in my thinking.

Double ended bulbs like this require a UV filter/guard

And the screw type bulbs like these dont need it because is built in

I'm trying to build a canopy for a a 72 Bow and choosing lighting thanks guys.
