buying coral from retailer on ebay

im looking at a few frags on ebay from this online store (reefempire). All his bids are starting at 0.99 even for chalices, acans, high end stuff. Do people normally scoop up these corals last minute for what they are truly worth or do those retailers take huge hits on selling them for half of what they are worth.

Also if you have any experience with Reefempire I would like to hear it.

I just made my first order from Reef Empire last week and it was great. The coral arrived on time and is extremely healthy. I could not ask for more...

Buying any specimens (inverts or fish) from a photo can be a little iffy. What are your assurances that the photo hasn't been Photoshopped? What are your assurances that the lighting the photo was taken with is the same lighting that you have? Caveat emptor...

with most of the wysiwyg ( what you see is what you get) you can't go wrong. I tried a few of the auctions it's typical ebay, starts off great deal then sells normal
