Can you overfeed corals?

I feed my corals often and I wanted to know if there's a consequence to this other than your water parameters going bad.
I personally don't worry about this since I do weekly water changes and clean out the filter once a week.

Thanks,
Steve

Do you test for nitrate and phosphate? I've know people who originally used Reef Roids daily, and their N and P numbers went through the roof.

I test my water every other weekend. My nitrates and phosphate are 0.
My corals seem in good health. Since I started in this hobby I've only lost 1 coral and it was because my emerald crab liked to chew on it. It was a Kenya tree.

i've never seen it cause a problem but i was told with lps if you feed them two much they might not be able to digest it quick enough and it may cause the food to rot and kill off the head. i used to feed my lps 2-3 times a week and nothing ever happened to them.

What kinds of corals and what are you feeding?

Some NPS corals cannot digest the food fast enough and can die off from over feeding. As others have mentioned, water params are important to monitor when you start feeding something new.

That is pretty normal, just keep an eye on your params and you should be fine. All of those corals like to be fed so I am sure they are enjoying it.
