Cape May

My family and I are going to Cape May 8/26-8/29. Can anyone recommend some good restraunts and some that are kid friendly.

Also we will be hitting up Ocean City on the way back to take the kids on the boardwalk. What are some good restraunts there?

Thanks for the help,

Nick

If you go Saturday instead of Sunday you'll be there for the meeting! A great family friendly event that's sure to be a lot of fun.

"Oves" on the boardwalk & 4th has really good food, it's a shortwalk from Gillians Wonderland Pier on 6th street. If you like to consume alcohol with dinner you'll have to head to Somers Point or Marmora. In Somers Point there is "Inlet" on Bay Ave. right on the water, "Stumpo's" Italian Food Longport/SomersPoint Rd. In Marmora there's "Obadiahs" right on Rt.52 and "Tuckahoe Inn" on rt.9, incredible sunsets, really good food.

Lobster House...right on the commercial fishing docks. Kids will love the boats

You'll need to make a reservation though.

Phyl,

I tried getting a room for Saturday in Cape May so I could attend my first meeting and meet some fellow marine aquarist, but the hotel only had Sun.-Wed. available. Hopefully I will be able to attend next months meeting.

Thanks sinkingbeach and Rich for the recommendations.

Rich, do you know anything about Elain's Haunted Mansion Restraunt? Also my wife would like to do a ghost tour with the kids. Is there 1 you could recommend, or are they not worth the time.

Thanks again
Nick

food, hmmmm...
Mangia Mangia in Cape may is good and kid friendly. godmothers is across the street, but a smidge fancier. Also, Menz on 47 outside of the villas is good!

Thats right Pete I forgot about that. Menz is real family friendly but it's not in Cape May proper. About 5 miles north in Rio Grande. Kids will love it.
