Car sunroof help

My SUZ is leaking from the sunroof from what I am told by my mechanic. He was able to clear one drain but told me the other cannot be. There is a piece broken and told me to silicone the hole and hope the other side drains well enough.
Does this sound right? Anyone have any other suggestions? I do plan to take the car someplace else and see what they say.
