Caulerpa in the sump

This is the just of how my sump is set up. Just wondering if I could put a type of caulerpa on the rubble rock. Will this work or do I have to put another baffle in there?

Also the light is a standard t8 fixture ment for a 10gal tank.

It would be fine with the rock as long as it doen't get sucked into the area were the return pump is.

There's a good 5" between the rubble rock and return. If I just keep it trimmed and growing on the rock it should be good then?

it will be good, just keep it trimmed. it will eventually root itself on the rocks and the only way to remove them would be cutting or pulling them out. you can use a rubberband to hold it onto the rock till it roots itself.

I would add another baffle and put a sponge in-between the baffle. We have caulerpa and chaeto in our sump and that is the only thing that keeps it from getting into the return area.
