Cheap LED's

I almost have the wife going for led's. Only problem is I cant spend bookoo bucks on them. I figured I'd get some opinions on these cheaper models. Let me know if you have experiance with them or if you know how well they work.

Thanks

Don't know if these ones are dimmable(may be a problem)

As you know, everyone has strong opinions on LEDs. I have 3 of the TaoTronics on a custom 225 starfire mixed reef. Everything grows great and most things have very good color. That being said, Mushrooms
have a hard time growing except in the deep shade. Welslo hates it. Clams and Anemones color up nice under them. SPS love em. LPS grow and color up nicely.
If I were to start over I would go with something like the Fathom leds. Programmable and more color spectrum.

I believe those are the same ones that Feng sells at his store. From what I see every time I visited his store, those things worked great. I believe they use Epistar LED chips.

May I suggest these lights TaoTronics 141w LED Light and TaoTronics 212W LED Light too? I like the fact that they have lenses and I believe they are interchangeable to fit your needs.

I am actually currently running Beamswork EVO Quad 3W LED Fixture, for the price it is a very good fixture, although it runs alittle too white for my liking. I am actually thinking of supplementing with some T5s to get the color the way I want it.

to add to wat Lostinthedark said, If I were to start over, I would have definitely gone with a more functional led fixture. I say functional because I believe most LED fixtures are capable of maintaining and growing corals. As far as features and functionality I believe thats were fixtures really differ. If you look at all the high-end LED fixtures, they basically all use the same LED chips (CREEs) What you're really paying for is the features the fixture offers like controllers, dimmablity, different modes, etc... oh and build quality.
