Cheapest RO Membrane Yet?

I think I just set a record for my own buying of inexpensive RO membranes ~ I just got two 100 GPD membranes for $33.

I actually just bought a new one too! I've only ever use filmtec by dow but how is this brand ?

I've bought non-branded membranes before without any issues. Considering how much the off brands look like the Dows, I wouldn't be surprised to learn that whey are actually "white Label" membranes manufactured by Dow.

Believe or not all these years of reefkeeping, I never replaced a membrane. Livingston water is pretty bad and hard, I guess it wears down faster.

I've used the geekpure 75gpd membranes before and they work decent. if your source water isn't absolutely trash like Rahway water is then its definitely passable. when i was in Elizabeth those membranes worked great.

I'm in Clark, the water is definitely decent, but I'll just continue with the dow filmtecs

Wait, so why did you never replace It then?

The membrane just continue to work. I think if you flush the membrane after each use it will last a long time, like years.
