algea barn has been out of cheato for a good amount of time. Is there any other business that carries clean cheato? I know one LFS who has it in stock but they have Aiptasia in there DTs

surely someone who has cheato in their own tanks can give/sell some? I used to grow the stuff and constantly had to throw it out. I supplied everyone I could here. I've stopped using chaeto so unfortunately cannot do the same today.

I think we are both trying to avoid pests and source something as “clean” as possible.

I've never heard of Algaebarn before.
Just looked it up and my jaw dropped. Anyone selling cheato at any price, much less those prices should be ashamed of themselves.

I don’t mind paying that if the chaeto is clean. It costs far less then medicating because you imported something parasitic from a ball of chaeto. And I’ll certainly pay it to avoid dinos or aiptasia.

Supply and demand - can't blame a business for that

I gave out a bunch of cheato at the meeting in Brick this summer - It's building back up since my last trimming in November but I'd say I need another month before removing another large chunk. Reach out to me if anyone is looking at that point.
