Choice of Sandbed

In preparation for my 215 gallon setup, I'm trying to choose a sand bed. My previous tank had Southdown but I'm thinking of going with either Fiji Pink, Bermuda Pink, CaribSea Special Grade or a combination of the 3 with Southdown layered under it. I would like to keep the Sand Bed between 4-5 inches.

Any recommendations?

Where did you find the Southdown?

I have a 4"+/- deep sand bed of Agramax Live & Southdown. Personally I would not use Southdown again for a sandbed. The grains of sand are to fine and it packs down so tightly that water will not pass through it. The next sand bed will most likely be mostly Agramax Select (0.5-1.5 mm)and maybe just a little bit of of the sugar sized stuff.

I used Carib and wish I went with something finer like Fiji Pink

I had purchased the Southdown from HD in Cherry Hill about a year ago. Any good place to get large quantities of the Carib-Sea for a good price?
