Closed loop help

Anyone know where I can get a diagram for a closed loop system? Just bought a used 100 gal acrylic with a center overflow that's drilled for one. I have no idea how they funciton.

that is a HOTB closed loop, the only diference with the tank u have is that
it's all ready drilled so u wont see the pvc that goes up & over the tank.
closed loop is a good way to get xtra flow in ur tank, all u are doing is sucking in the water
& pushing it back in the tank, if the power went off it would not drain cuz its a closed loop
u can put a closed loop on a SQWD or an a Ocean motion.
