I have an ocellaris clown, and want to add a partner. I was curious if anyone has had any luck adding a second. I know it can work if you add them at the same time, but i've had this one for about a year. would just re-arranging things work for "re-introducing" it?

We added a juvi to a 5-6yo GSM and had great success. We also tried adding a juvi to what used to be a male (but we were fairly certain had been alone long enough to have become Female. We had to pull the juvi out of that tank.

My advice would be to hang the juvi in a specimen tank on the side. You'll know immediately if they'll be ok in the tank together. If it is still male/becoming female there will likely be a war. IME, that transitional state seems to be far more volitile than a female who'd been a female for quite some time.
