Hi,

When I was living in NY, I usually bring in and exchange my empty cylinder with a full one, I like it this way since I do not have to worry about the cylinder getting old. I remember read it some where that the cylinder is good for up to 5 years then it will require service.

Does anyone know any place that will exchange the empty cylinder with a full one near East Brunswick, NJ?

It has been my experience with bottle exchanges that you cannot exchange a bottle that came from another vendor. It may be a liability issue. The place you would exchange the tanks need to know where the tanks came from.

The place in Lakewood (admittedly quite far from East Brunswick) exchanges any cylinder you bring in. I was so sad the first time we brought a brand new bottle there and came out with carp!

Unfortunately I don't know as much about the north/central places.
