Collecting shells

Does anyone collect shells at the shore? I was thinking about possibly collecting then Bleaching.

Wife like to collect sea glass. Occasionally I may keep a shell if I like it.

Make sure they are empty and then yeah if you clean them they should be good to go for your tank.

i've added clam and oyster shells to tanks without much more than a quick rinse. sometimes not even that if it was something i pulled from the ocean myself.

with those shells its easier to see there's no flesh or detritus left in them, but i'd rather not deal with putting something that's possibly absorbed some chlorine in a tank.
