Complet rescaping, remove fish or not?

I am planning to completely rescape the tank with new rocks. This will involve removing all existing rocks and corals the put in new rocks and glue some of the corals back. Some of the existing rocks will go into the frag tank if there are corals on them. Will move some corals at a later time. The complete process will take about 2 to 3 hours. To minimize the impact to the fish do your suggest moving them to a bucket temporarily or leave them in the tank?

Do you have sand? when you take your current rock out alot of crap will come off of them. I did this in the 265 last year and left the fish in. And sucked all the sand out with a hose.

No sand. Some of the rocks will be moved to the drag tank temporarily so the cycle should be fine. I am leaning towards leaving the fish in and minimize the time. Will only be two preglued large pieces.

+1. Just be as careful as you can when removing the bottom rocks to not disturb the sandbed as much as you can.
